Recently, Prof. Denis Arčon was elected as a member of the General Council of the European Magnetism Association (EMA) with a three-year term.
EMA promotes the development of magnetism and magnetic materials in Europe, through rising the visibility and the impact of research on fundamental and applied magnetism. The General Council consists of representatives of the European countries active in magnetism research. It defines the general policy developed by the EMA and oversees their actions, such as the Joint European Magnetic Symposia conference and the European School on Magnetism.
